Step-by-step guide

Create and share a Player Pack

Turn trusted player information into a focused club pitch, publish one exact version and carry the recipient’s response into the next piece of agency work.

In this guide

Keep the Pack, version and Share distinct

A Pack is reusable curated content for one player. Publishing freezes that content as an immutable version. A Share gives one intended recipient at one club access to that exact version through a private, time-limited link.

The workflow starts from the player dossier, keeps sensitive choices deliberate and ends only when an agent records the human outcome. Copying a link is not treated as sending it, and a recipient response does not move a deal automatically.

Prepare the trusted player information

01

Check the football essentials

Review the player’s name, age, nationality, positions, preferred foot, current club and availability. Missing values are omitted from the recipient view; Relai never invents replacement content.

02

Add only media and links worth presenting

Choose one strong profile image, add curated external video links and, when useful, add the player’s Transfermarkt URL for live career and season statistics. Rename unclear documents before selecting them for a recipient.

03

Check authority and time-sensitive facts

Confirm the representation agreement or player permission, then review current market expectations and work eligibility. Resolve conflicting or overdue records before using them in a pitch.

Start a conservative draft from the dossier

01

Choose Share player on the player profile

Relai creates a private draft with a low-risk starting set. The draft stays inside the workspace until publication and is owned by the member who created it.

02

Name the Pack for internal use

Use a name that helps the team recognise the purpose of the pitch. The Pack name is not shown to the recipient. Add an optional reusable introduction explaining why the player is worth considering.

03

Wait for Saved before publishing

Draft edits autosave without placing dossier or Pack content in local browser storage. Relai publishes only the latest durably saved revision and offers recovery controls if a save fails.

Choose the smallest useful disclosure

01

Switch on sections and complete their setup inline

Statuses such as Age only, Linked, Setup required and the selected count show what each section will contribute. A configurable section opens beneath its row when enabled so the required next choice stays next to the toggle.

02

Select facts rather than exporting the dossier

Include only the relevant market expectations, work-eligibility conclusions, Pack-approved performance fields, image, videos and supporting files. Exact date of birth and other sensitive selections require deliberate confirmation.

03

Arrange the recipient’s reading order

Drag sections on desktop or use move-up and move-down controls on mobile. Lead with the strongest football case and place supporting detail afterwards. The portrait remains in the fixed Pack hero.

Use the exact preview and Pack check

01

Read the Pack as the recipient will

Desktop keeps the recipient preview beside Content and Delivery. Mobile separates Content, Preview and Delivery into three steps. Empty sections remain hidden in both views.

02

Treat quality checks as guidance

Pack check identifies missing recommended details, stale facts and unavailable media. A missing optional detail lowers quality without blocking publication; a privacy or authority requirement must still be completed.

03

Confirm sensitive content after the final selection

Review the exact date of birth, commercial terms, work eligibility, portrait and files selected for this Pack. Changing a sensitive selection clears the earlier confirmation so the final saved version is always the version reviewed.

Publish one version for one recipient

01

Complete authority and file disclosure

A current representation agreement shows how long authority remains valid. Without one, record explicit player permission. Selected files require a separate acknowledgement that the recipient can download and keep a copy.

02

Name the club and intended recipient

Choose the target club, enter the recipient’s name or role and add an optional personal message for this Share. Relai warns when the same player has already been pitched to the club so the earlier status and outcome can be reviewed.

03

Set the access window and publish

Leave Link expires blank for the 30-day default or choose a date that matches the conversation. Publish and copy link freezes the current version, creates the recipient-specific Share and copies its private link.

Check the recipient experience

01

Open the link outside the workspace

The page removes agency workflow controls and presents the player, selected content, recipient-specific message and sender contact actions. Generic link previews do not expose the player’s name, image or club.

02

Preserve identity when a link is forwarded

Prepared for names the target club and intended recipient. A different viewer can use Not you? to identify themselves; Relai retains both who received the link and who actually responded.

03

Keep files behind the Share boundary

Eligible PDFs and images are streamed through the active Share rather than a public storage address. Download access ends when the Share expires, is suspended or is revoked, although copies already saved by the recipient cannot be recalled.

Turn the response into accountable follow-up

01

Let the recipient choose a clear response

The recipient can choose Interested, Need more information or Not for us and add an optional message. A pass may include a reason, and the response can be revised while the Share remains available.

02

Use the single follow-up task

Interested and Need more information notify the sender and create one follow-up task due the next working day. A revised response updates that task instead of creating duplicate work; a pass creates no follow-up.

03

Record the commercial outcome deliberately

In Shared Packs, record Conversation started, Progressed to deal or Closed without progression. Progressing can create a new deal or link an existing deal and complete the response follow-up in the same explicit action.

Keep the Share trustworthy after publication

01

Work from the next-action queues

Shared Packs separates Needs action, Awaiting open, Awaiting reply and Resolved work. It records genuine human opens without retaining raw IP addresses or user agents as Pack analytics, and it filters known link-preview crawlers.

02

Extend, revoke or republish for the right reason

Extend an eligible Share when the conversation continues. Revocation permanently disables the existing link. If selected source facts change, the Share is marked stale but keeps showing its original version until an agent publishes an update.

03

Let authority control access

An expired representation agreement suspends active Shares for that player. Reactivation requires renewed authority or recorded player permission; it never happens silently.
